1. You need to register or log in with your Razer ID to join this competition.
2. During the competition's joining period, each user who joins will increase the prize pool until it reaches the maximum amount for each season.
3. Once the competition starts, the prize pool will no longer change. The final amount of prizes, however, will be divided and duplicated into varying portions.
4. During the competition, you can start accumulating gameplay time by playing any supported game. All gameplay time accumulated after the competition will no longer be registered.
5. You can redeem prizes by exchanging the required amount of gameplay time for each prize.
6. Each prize only comes at a limited quantity, first-come-first-serve basis.
7. You can choose to participate in the competition by yourself or as a squad of up to 4 members. When participating as a squad, the gameplay time of each squad member will be accumulated. Redemption of prizes will consume the total gameplay time of the squad. Redeemed prizes will be distributed proportionally based on the gameplay time contribution of each member.
8. Only the squad leader can redeem prizes.
9. The maximum gameplay time per person in one day is 4 hours. When participating as a squad, the total gameplay time of all members will be accumulated; hence, the maximum gameplay time for a 4-player squad in one day is 16 hours (4 people * 4 hours).
10. When participating as a squad, (only) the squad leader can kick out squad member(s). Kicked out squad members can immediately join a new squad.
11. Players who voluntarily leave a squad can only join a new squad after 2 hours.
12. During the competition, (a) kicked out and (b) leaving squad members will take their own gameplay time with them.
13. Once the competition ends, any unredeemed gameplay time can still be used to redeem available prizes. These will only be reset once the next competition starts.
14. During the competition, ensure that Razer Cortex is running and that all supported game(s) are launched through Razer Cortex. Otherwise, your gameplay time will not be recorded. Razer will not compensate or consider any unrecorded gameplay time. In no way shall Razer be liable for any theory of liability arising in any way from use of this Cortex software.
How does Razer Cortex track gameplay time for the Squad Rewards competition and update it on the Squad Rewards leaderboard?
After a supported game is detected to be launched and running for 5 minutes, Razer Cortex will send the gameplay information to backend servers.
Network issues such as slow network or VPN access may disrupt the process. If so, Razer Cortex will attempt to send the gameplay information in the subsequent minute. This may cause a time gap between the gameplay time you have spent and the gameplay time recorded.
Razer Cortex will continue to record every 5 minutes of gameplay time. Your gameplay time will be updated once Razer Cortex detects that the game is no longer running on your PC.
What happens if I am in the middle of a game when the daily reset time occurs?
Your gameplay time will still be detected by Razer Cortex. However, this may not be reflected immediately on the leaderboard which may affect your chance to redeem a Razer Silver prize. Thus, it is advisable to relaunch the supported game when the daily reset time occurs.
What factors determine my squad’s ranking on the Squad Rewards leaderboard?
These are the four factors, ranked in order of importance:
              1. Total gameplay hours: Note that your leaderboard ranking may decrease after your squad redeems a prize using gameplay hours.
              2. Time taken to accumulate total gameplay time: Squads with the same amount of gameplay hours will be ranked according to the time taken. The squad that reaches their accumulated gameplay hours in the least amount of time will rank higher.
              3. Number of members in squad: For squads who have the same amount of gameplay hours and time taken, the squad with more members will rank higher.
              4. Time of squad creation: For squads who have met the first three conditions equally, the squad which was created earlier will rank higher.

How often is the leaderboard updated?
The leaderboard ranking refreshes every minute and the updated data will be reflected after you refresh the page.
Does my squad’s leaderboard ranking affect my ability to redeem the prize in Squad Rewards?
No, it does not. You can redeem any prize in Squad Rewards as long as you have accumulated enough gameplay time to claim it. Your squad’s leaderboard ranking functions strictly as a tracker to help you compare your progress with other top squads—information which can help you plan what Razer Silver prizes you want to claim.

How do I confirm if my game is being detected?
Ensure that Razer Cortex is running on your PC before you launch your game. Detected games will be shown in ‘MY LIBRARY’ tab.
How do I confirm if my gameplay time is being tracked?
Ensure that you have launched a supported game for at least 5 minutes, before checking on the leaderboard page to see if it is tracking.
My gameplay time was not tracked by Razer Cortex, what should I do?
Firstly, ensure that the game you have been playing is on our list of supported games. Check here for the full list OR view this list directly on the Squad Rewards Campaign page in Razer Cortex.
We highly recommended checking the list at the start of every new Squad Rewards season, as that is when the list of supported games will be updated with new titles. While the competition is active, any supported games with gameplay time issues will be removed temporarily until the issue is fixed.
Next, check if you have met these other prerequisites:
          • Squad Rewards competition has started.
          • Razer Cortex was running on your PC before you launched your game.
          • Your game was launched using Razer Cortex, instead of another third-party game launcher.
          • Your game shows up in the ‘SUPPORTED GAMES’ tab in Razer Cortex, under ‘Supported games on this PC’ (as shown below).

• If you have met ALL the above prerequisites and your gameplay time was not tracked, please contact us using Razer Cortex Feedback.
My game was not detected by Razer Cortex even though it is listed as a supported game—how do I fix this?
We recommend letting Razer Cortex do a clean scan to detect the game. To do so, you need to first remove the game listing on Razer Cortex by going to the ‘MY LIBRARY’ tab, proceeding to the game's profile page, and clicking on the 'Settings' icon, followed by 'Remove'.
Restart Razer Cortex after the above steps and click on the ‘Refresh’ icon to add the game automatically.
If the above steps do not work, please proceed to delete the file folder (C:\ProgramData\Razer\GameManager3\Data\rzr_userid) and reinstall the game before attempting to rescan for the game in Razer Cortex.
My gameplay time was not tracked even though it was detected by Razer Cortex – how do I fix this?
Please follow the below steps to restart ‘Razer Game Manager Service 3’:
            • Exit Razer Cortex.
            • Go to ‘Task Manager’ > ‘Services’.
            • Right- click on ‘Razer Game Manager Service 3’ to Restart it.
            • Re-launch Razer Cortex.

After finishing the above steps, please launch a supported game for at least 5 minutes, before checking on the leaderboard page to see if it is tracking.
If this method does not work, please contact us using Razer Cortex Feedback.
What are some other reasons that may cause tracking issues for my gameplay time?
1. Multiple versions of the same game are installed on your PC.
Ensure that there is only 1 version of the supported game so that gameplay hours can be tracked successfully.
2. The game you’ve launched has not been updated to its latest version.
Please contact us using Razer Cortex Feedback and include your logs and the game title.
For any other enquiries or issues regarding gameplay time tracking
Please submit your enquiry through the Feedback feature in Razer Cortex. Do ensure that the ‘send log file’ is enabled for the team to investigate your logs. It is advised to include your e-mail address in the enquiry form so the support team can reach out to you directly.
Where can I download the Cortex PC?
You can download the Cortex PC from here.
